Zee5, a leading video streaming platform known for its multilingual storytelling, has announced the elevation of Shresth Gupta to Vice President of Marketing (SVOD) for India and international markets, signifying its commitment to strengthening the leadership team and driving growth in the competitive streaming landscape.
In his new role, Gupta will oversee the launch and promotion of Zee5’s original series and movies in Hindi, Bengali and Marathi, aiming to bolster the platform’s subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) growth in both domestic and global markets.
Gupta’s mandate includes crafting strategic campaigns to attract and retain viewers while reinforcing Zee5’s reputation as a premier destination for diverse and high-quality content.
With over 15 years of experience in strategic planning and brand building, Gupta brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. Before joining Zee5 in August 2020, he held key leadership roles across renowned organizations, including Sun TV Network, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, and Reliance Broadcast Network.
Gupta has earned accolades for spearheading successful marketing campaigns, including the launches of Zindagi and &Prive HD, which are celebrated for their innovative approaches and resonance with niche audiences.
