The much-anticipated film ‘Saali Mohabbat’, produced by Jio Studios and Manish Malhotra’s Stage5 Productions, will have its world premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa on November 22.
This marks a significant milestone, as the film is not only the directorial debut of actress Tisca Chopra but also the production debut of renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
The film stars Radhika Apte, Divyendu, Anshuman Pushkar, Sauraseni Maitra, Sharat Saxena and Anurag Kashyap. The gripping narrative promises to offer an intense and thrilling cinematic experience, with a story that uniquely explores emotions and suspense, UNI reported from Mumbai.
Producer Malhotra expressed his excitement, stating, “With Stage5 Productions, I aim to create cinematic experiences that are both entertaining and thought-provoking. The moment I read the script of ‘Saali Mohabbat’, I was drawn to its intensity.”
Director Chopra, also making her directorial debut, expressed her gratitude towards the team, saying, “I am extremely grateful to Jio Studios and Jyoti Deshpande for their unwavering support. It’s an honour to present ‘Saali Mohabbat’ at IFFI, and I look forward to letting the audience experience this exciting journey.”
