Dish TV India Ltd., a leader in India’s DTH and OTT aggregation landscape, has partnered with C21Media to introduce Content India 2025, an ambitious three-day market and conference aimed at connecting Indian and global content creators, producers, distributors, and platforms.
The event, set to launch in April 2026 in Mumbai, will open doors for Indian content to gain enhanced visibility and collaboration on an international scale.
According to a Dish TV press release, Content India Summit will take place from April 1 to 3, 2025, as an exclusive, invite-only gathering designed to shape the mission and objectives for Content India 2025. Following a format similar to C21Media’s other international content events, the summit will unite leaders from both the Indian and global entertainment sectors to foster cross-border collaboration and innovation.
Manoj Dobhal, CEO & Executive Director of Dish TV India, expressed confidence in the partnership’s potential to elevate India’s creative landscape, stating, “India’s content industry stands at the cusp of global recognition, with unparalleled potential waiting to be realized. Our collaboration with C21Media is a commitment to bridge the gap between local and international talent, enabling Indian storytellers to reach a worldwide audience.” Dobhal emphasized Dish TV’s role as a content leader, supporting the journey of creators by enhancing accessibility and distribution through the company’s comprehensive ecosystem, including the DTH and OTT aggregation platform, Watcho.
David Jenkinson, C21Media’s editor-in-chief and managing director, commented on the opportunities Content India will present, highlighting the global interest in India’s prolific content sector and unmatched technical and post-production capabilities. “While the Indian content sector needs no help to succeed, connecting key players from both the domestic and international communities can foster next-generation content that works worldwide. We are thrilled to partner with Dish TV to make Content India a transformative experience,” he said.
By launching Content India 2025, Dish TV aims to streamline distribution paths for Indian creators, ensuring high-quality content reaches the right audiences globally and driving India’s content industry toward sustainable growth on the international stage.
