Samsung has announced the addition of Aaj Tak HD and The Lallantop to its Samsung TV Plus lineup in India, expanding its free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service. This move aims to provide viewers with top-quality programming and meet the evolving needs of audiences in an increasingly connected world.
The new collaboration will enable TV Today Network’s FAST channel offerings, including Aaj Tak HD and The Lallantop, to reach a wider audience, offering compelling and premium free content on large-screen TVs.
Speaking about the partnership, Salil Kumar, CEO of Digital Business, TVTN, expressed excitement over this milestone. “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our two new FAST channels on Samsung TV Plus India. This partnership represents a significant milestone for us, as it allows us to bring our diverse and engaging content to a broader audience through one of the most popular and innovative smart TV platforms,” he said.
Samsung TV Plus already offers over 100 FAST live channels and thousands of on-demand movies and TV shows to millions of users across India. These channels are entirely ad-supported, providing free access to viewers.
With the addition of Aaj Tak HD and The Lallantop, Samsung aims to enhance its content library further. Kunal Mehta, Head of Partnerships, Samsung TV Plus India, emphasized the significance of the collaboration: “The addition of Aaj Tak HD and The Lallantop channels will provide increased access to the latest news from the world of business, politics, entertainment, and more.
