Production house Ellipsis Entertainment has announced an exciting new film project based on the infamous 1971 scam at a State Bank of India branch in Delhi.
The currently untitled film will delve into what is described as ‘one of the most sensational scams in India’s banking history’, a PTI report stated.
The movie will investigate the infamous 1971 banking fraud, which involved a team of Delhi police officers, led by the then SHO of Chanakya Puri, Hari Dev Kaushal.
The scam, marked by its audacity and complexity, was executed by an alleged double agent named Rustom Nagarwala. The story is set to bring to light the intricate details of the con and the subsequent investigation that captured national attention.
Ellipsis Entertainment’s new project promises to continue that tradition by providing a gripping narrative around the notorious 1971 bank scam. The production house is committed to bringing real-life stories to the big screen, blending factual accuracy with cinematic flair.
