Viacom18 Media Private Limited has announced the promotion of Sahil Chopra to the position of Associate Vice President. Chopra, who previously served as Senior Director of Brand and Sports Marketing at JioCinema, will now take on a broader leadership role within the company.
In his previous role at JioCinema, Chopra was instrumental in shaping the creative strategies for major sports and entertainment events, including the TATA IPL, BCCI domestic series, Olympics, and WPL. His innovative approach and strategic vision significantly elevated the brand’s presence in the competitive market.
Sharing his excitement on LinkedIn, Chopra posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Associate Vice President at Viacom18 Media Private Limited!”
His journey with Viacom18 began in May 2015 when he joined as Manager Marketing – Youth & English Entertainment. Over the years, he made notable contributions to popular brands such as MTV, Colors Infinity, Vh1, and Comedy Central.
Before his tenure at Viacom18, Chopra worked with The Times of India, where he started as an Assistant Brand Manager in May 2011 and was promoted to Brand Manager by May 2013. His career commenced as a Management Trainee at HERO HONDA Motors, where he gained valuable industry experience.
