Start in Chandni Chowk: The Carnival kicked off from Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi, celebrating India’s diverse regional cultures.
States Covered: The journey traversed through Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana, providing insights into the political landscapes and electoral dynamics of each region.
Uttar Pradesh: In Meerut, the Carnival explored the intense political competition between SP-BSP and BJP, focusing on BJP’s candidate Arun Govil. In Mathura, it engaged with Hema Malini’s campaign, addressing local concerns like environmental pollution.
Rajasthan: In Bharatpur, the Carnival highlighted the electoral contest between BJP’s Ramswarup Koli and Congress’ Sanjana Jatav, focusing on education and healthcare.
Madhya Pradesh: In Bhopal, NDTV’s Editor-in-Chief, Sanjay Pugalia, conversed with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav about diversifying sectors to boost farmers’ income. Discussions in Ujjain and Khandwa highlighted employment, water, and infrastructure concerns.
