Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth have reason to rejoice as the title of his much-anticipated 171st film has been unveiled. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj took to social media platform X to announce that the upcoming movie will be titled “Coolie.”
Backed by the renowned Chennai-based production house Sun Pictures, “Coolie” marks the next milestone in Rajinikanth’s illustrious career. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for delivering Tamil blockbusters like “Master,” “Kaithi,” “Vikram,” and “Leo,” expressed his admiration for the legendary actor with a heartfelt message alongside a teaser of the film, according to the pti report.
Anirudh Ravichander, a prominent name in the music industry, will compose the music for “Coolie.” The film promises exhilarating action sequences choreographed by the renowned action duo Anbumani and Arivumani, popularly known as “Anbariv.”
Rajinikanth, known affectionately as Thalaiva among his legions of fans, was last seen in “Lal Salaam,” directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. His upcoming project “Vettaiyan,” helmed by T J Gnanavel, boasts an ensemble cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier.
As anticipation mounts for Rajinikanth’s next cinematic venture, “Coolie” promises to captivate audiences with its unique storyline and stellar performances, reaffirming the actor’s enduring legacy in Indian cinema.
