The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) yesterday released the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for title sponsor rights for BCCI events.
The official statement by BCCI outlined the comprehensive terms and conditions governing the tender process, including eligibility requirements, bid submission procedures, rights and obligations.
According to an official media statement put out by BCCI on its website yesterday, to access the ITT, interested parties were required to make a non-refundable payment of INR 1,00,000 (rupees one lakh), along with any applicable Goods and Services Tax.
The complete procedure for obtaining the ITT documents, the body said, was available in Annexure A of the notice. Potential bidders have until August 21to purchase the ITT.
BCCI also clarified that purchasing the ITT does not automatically entitle anyone to place a bid. Eligibility for bidding was subject to meeting the criteria specified and complying with all the terms and conditions laid out.
In a previous announcement last week, BCCI disclosed the schedule for the senior men’s team for the 2023-24 home season, comprising 16 international matches, including five Tests, three ODIs, and eight T20Is. The cricketing action promises to be captivating as India gears up to host these prestigious matches.
Meanwhile, last month, BCCI, along with the International Cricket Council (ICC), unveiled an exciting campaign ‘It Takes One Day’ for the men’s World Cup that will be held in India later this year.
The campaign, an official statement said, stirs up emotions of fans, whilst also celebrating the format of the game.
The campaign launch took place last month amidst more than 85 content creators from across India, in an event organized by Meta, ICC’s official digital content licensee.
The truly unmissable ‘It Takes One Day’ campaign puts fans and players at its heart, showcasing the iconic moments of the World Cup and connecting them to the specially conceptualized Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 Navarasa, which symbolizes the nine emotions fans most commonly experience during a cricket match.
Reliving some of the most decorated moments in the fabled history of the Men’s World Cricket Cup, the campaign showcases the journey of raw emotions experienced by both players and fans collectively over one day.
Through the magic of ‘Match Cuts’, the promo film connects these emotions to the nine Navarasa — anguish, bravery, glory, joy, passion, power, pride, respect and wonder — experienced by fans in the span of just one day.
