‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, directed by Luv Ranjan, is set to premiere on television, premiering on India’s leading Hindi movie channel, Sony MAX, on June 25 at 8 PM.
Bollywood stalwarts Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor play key roles alongside the lead pair of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, while Bollywood heartthrobs Kartik Aaryan and Nushratt Bharuccha add a surprise element with an entertaining appearance in the film.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar focuses on Rohan aka Mickey (played by Ranbir) and Tinny (played by Shraddha).
Mickey comes from a wealthy Delhi family and works as a break-up consultant with the help of his friend and business partner Manu (played by Anubhav Singh Bassi).
Mickey and Tinny meet and fall in love during Manu’s bachelor party in Spain, but love in the modern era is difficult.
The film takes viewers on a fun and entertaining journey until Rohan’s break up service backfires on him.
“Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is a rom-com that highlights the anxieties and diverse expectations of a modern couple while also catering to a family audience.” The film creates a warm and happy atmosphere, causing audiences to laugh along, enjoy the romance, become emotional, and perhaps even learn something at the end. We are pleased that the film will be shown on Sony MAX in every part of the country, and that a large audience will be able to watch and enjoy it with their families.”
