Anuja Trivedi has quit as executive director, and content studio strategy head, at Disney Star, and will join Shemaroo Entertainment as chief marketing officer, according to a LinkedIn post.
She will begin her new position on May 1.
Trivedi worked with Disney Star in various capacities for almost nine years. She joined Star Plus in 2013 as a senior manager, of product and revenue strategy, and quickly rose through the ranks.
She was promoted to her current position in March 2022, and she is responsible for leading the content studio strategy across TV and digital, as well as different languages and content formats, to maximize subscriber growth on Disney+ Hotstar and Star’s network market share on TV.
She previously worked with the World Gold Council, McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley Advantage Services, and PwC.
Disney Star and Shemaroo both declined to comment on the news.
