The film ‘Malikappuram‘ will be available for streaming on Disney+Hotstar on February 15.
The plot revolves around the journey of an eight-year-old girl to Sabarimala. The film, directed by debutant Vishnu Sasi Sankar, gives the audience a glimpse into the devotion and innocence of Kalyani, the child.
‘Malikappuram’ is a reinterpretation of the concept of God that makes a pilgrimage worthwhile for both those who are familiar with Sabarimala and those who are not.
The screenplay for this film has been written by Abhilash Pillai, and the cinematography was done by Vishnu Narayanan. The lyrics were written by Santosh Verma and BK Harinarayanan and the music was composed by Ranjin Raj. The film’s editor is Shameer Muhammad.
Priya Venu and Neeta Pinto have produced the film under the banners of Ann Mega Media and Kavya Film Company.
