Google has added the Illustrations tool to its contact management service ‘Google Contacts’ on Android, allowing users to create a personalized profile picture.
While editing any contact in Contacts, the new ‘Google Illustrations’ tool is available.
‘Illustrations’ appears as the first tab, followed by ‘Google Photos’ and ‘Device photos,’ IANS reported from San Francisco. In September 2021, Gmail received the ‘Google Illustrations’ tool.
The collections have not changed, but the tech behemoth has added more options to each of the sub-categories since their initial release.
After selecting an image and entering the editor, users will notice a new ‘Quick crops’ feature that shows interesting parts of an image and joins the other color tools, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Google Contacts on Android now includes a new ‘Highlight’ tab. In the Material You bottom bar, the new tab appears between ‘Contacts’ and ‘Fix & manage’.
