Discovery+ is now available in Canada on Prime Video.
Users will have access to Discovery+’s library of over 60,000 original series from HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, OWN, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and Magnolia Network. A&E, The History Channel, and Lifetime are also included in the subscription.
Discovery+ recently introduced an offline downloads feature. Subscribers in the United States now have access to offline downloads while traveling, commuting, or when not connected to the internet. This update comes in the wake of the launch of download capabilities in Brazil.
Discovery+ is also now available on DirectTV. Subscribers to DirecTV and DirecTV Stream will have access to the non-fiction subscription channel, which will have a library of 70,000+ episodes of original series and library content from the Warner Bros. Discovery portfolio of networks.
Discovery+ with no ads is available on Prime Video for CAD 6.99 per month plus applicable taxes.
“We are thrilled to add Prime Video to the robust list of platforms that Discovery+ is available on in Canada, and provide Prime members direct access to the definitive real-life streaming service,” Sarah Bergman, svp, of distribution at Warner Bros. Discovery, said in a statement.
“Prime Video has long been a valued partner, and as our relationship with them continues to expand, we are very excited to be able to reach more of their customers across the globe.”
