BARC India has released the much-anticipated news channel viewership data for the election day in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
On Thursday, December 8, India TV maintained its number one position during the counting hours: 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
India TV led the pack with a 17.1 percent market share among the ten channels.
Aaj Tak came in second place with a 14.8 percent market share, followed by News18 India, which takes the third position with a 13.5 percent market share.
TV9 Bharatvarsh ranked fourth, with an 11.3 percent market share, and Republic Bharat was ranked fifth, with a 9.4 percent market share.
ABP ranked sixth with a 9.3 percent market share.
Navbharat was ranked seventh with a 7.4 percent market share, followed by Good News Today with a 6.7 percent market share.
News 24 ranked ninth, with a 6.7 percent market share, and News Nation ranked tenth, with a 3.9 percent market share.
