Zee5, India and Bharat’s largest home-grown video streaming platform and multilingual storyteller, has announced the digital premiere ‘Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II – Agni Pariksha’, starring Vidyut Jammwal, on September 2.
A follow-up to the 2020 action-thriller ‘Khuda Haafiz’, the upcoming movie is written and directed by Faruk Kabir who penned and helmed the first film in the franchise as well.
The sequel is the story of Sameer (Vidyut Jammwal) and Nargis (Shivaleeka Oberoi) after the events of the first film.
After overcoming all odds, the couple finds a ray of sunshine when they adopt a girl child, Nandini. But their happiness is short-lived as Nandini gets kidnapped on her way back from school, and Sameer takes it upon himself to get her back home.
The makers previously described the sequel as an “intense love story” between Sameer and Nargis.
