J Ravindran has resigned from Sun TV Network Ltd on September 24 as an independent director. The company has notified the BSE.
He submitted his resignation at the closing of business hours.
“At present, he is unable to devote time to the company and there is no material reason for his resignation,” said a statement from the company.
Ravindran also said, “It was my privilege to serve the Board as a Director and I convey my deep sense of appreciation and a feeling of my gratitude towards the Board of Directors for giving me an opportunity to serve as an Independent Director. I take this opportunity to thank the Chairman, all the Board Members, and the entire Management of Sun TV Network Limited.”
