At a time when several million people in India have lost their jobs due to pandemic and slowdown in the economy, some companies have started hiring again, which include The Times of India group streamers Lionsgate and Netflix and even some social media websites.
Though Indianbroadcastingworld.com is not sure whether Lionsgate India has hired a headhunter or not — most of whom are themselves costly to hire — the head honcho of the company responsible for South Asia and emerging markets, Rohit Jain, used LinkedIn to sound out probable candidates.
So hailing all communications experts. Lionsgate India is looking for a person to head its corporate communications. The catch is that the person would have to be based in Mumbai or willing to relocate to the city of dreams and should have an experience of 10-15 years in related fields.
Jain, who’s the Managing Director South Asia and Networks- Emerging Markets Asia at Lionsgate, and based in Mumbai, wrote in the LinkedIn post: “Our Company is looking for specialists in Communications and PR with an in-depth understanding of Media. This role will be responsible for leading the communications output within the company and assist the team in developing and implementing campaigns to promote originals.”
The key areas of focus include corporate PR strategy, PR strategy and execution of Lionsgate originals, communication around market expansion and building company representation at industry bodies, forums, etc.
