NH Studioz has partnered with LG Electronics to launch five dedicated entertainment channels on LG Channels, LG’s free streaming service available on compatible Smart TVs in India. The collaboration expands NH Studioz’s presence in the connected TV and free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) market, bringing curated Bollywood, regional, musical and devotional content to viewers.
According to a NH Studioz press release ,the five channels — NH BollyFlix, NH BollyGold, NH BollyRaga, NH Tamil Gold and NH Namo — offer an always-on viewing experience that combines the familiar format of traditional television with internet-based streaming. The channels are free to watch, with programming supported by advertising.
Established in 1980, NH Studioz has a film library of more than 5,000 titles across over 15 languages. The Mumbai-based company operates across film rights licensing, content acquisition, syndication and distribution, reaching audiences in more than 140 countries through partnerships with over 100 platforms.
Each channel caters to a distinct viewing preference. NH BollyFlix focuses on contemporary Bollywood cinema, featuring films such as ‘Pink’, ‘October’, ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, with performances by stars including Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
NH BollyGold celebrates classic Indian cinema with titles such as ‘Sholay’, ‘Anand’, ‘The Burning Train’ and ‘Gol Maal’. NH BollyRaga focuses on the musical heritage of Hindi films, featuring iconic songs and compositions associated with music director R. D. Burman and singer Lata Mangeshkar.
NH Tamil Gold brings together Tamil films across generations, featuring stars such as Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan alongside contemporary actors including Dhanush and Vijay. NH Namo, meanwhile, offers devotional and spiritual programming, with titles such as ‘Ramayan’, ‘Shree Ganesha’ and ‘Om Namah Shivay’.
Shreyans Hirawat, Head – Film Business & Innovation at NH Studioz, said the partnership reflects the company’s efforts to make its extensive content library accessible through emerging technologies while retaining the convenience of traditional television viewing.
“At NH Studioz, we have always believed that great content never loses its audience, it simply finds new ways to reach them,” Hirawat said, adding that the collaboration would create new destinations for audiences to rediscover Indian entertainment.
Brian Jung, Director, Media Entertainment Solution, LG Electronics India, said the company aims to make Bollywood content easily accessible to connected TV viewers. He added that LG Channels offers more than 150 free channels across movies, entertainment, music and regional programming, with the latest expansion strengthening its Bollywood offering.
The partnership builds on NH Studioz’s broader FAST expansion across platforms, including Samsung TV Plus, JioTV, Airtel Xstream, TCL, Swift TV and RunnTV. The company is continuing to develop genre-led channels to reach audiences through connected television services.
With the addition of the five channels to LG Channels, NH Studioz is expanding the reach of its film catalogue while tapping into the growing market for free, advertising-supported streaming entertainment in India.
