JioHotstar adds ‘Hunkkaar’, ‘Toy Story 5’ and ‘Mango Pachcha’ to weekend lineup

JioHotstar has lined up a mix of drama, crime thrillers and international family entertainment for viewers this weekend, with titles including Fatima Sana Shaikh-led ‘Hunkkaar: The Roar’, ‘Toy Story 5’ and the Kannada crime narrative ‘Mango Pachcha’.

‘Hunkkaar: The Roar’, headlined by Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aneet Padda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, blends socio-drama with courtroom intrigue. The series follows a young woman’s fight for justice after she makes a serious accusation against an influential spiritual figure.

Directed by Nitya Mehra and Karan Kapadia, the series explores the legal, social and personal battles that unfold in the aftermath of the accusation. ‘Hunkkaar: The Roar’ is currently streaming on JioHotstar.

The much-loved ‘Toy Story’ franchise also returns with its fifth instalment, bringing back popular characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang. Toy Story 5 introduces a contemporary challenge as smart gadgets and digital technology begin to change the way children play.

The new chapter expands the franchise’s world while retaining its mix of humour, emotion and family-friendly entertainment.

For viewers seeking a darker watch, ‘Mango Pachcha’ offers a gripping Kannada crime narrative. The story follows a young man from a small town whose life takes an unexpected turn after a disappearance exposes a hidden network of deceit.

As he gets drawn deeper into the mystery, he is forced to confront a dangerous web of crime that puts everything he holds dear at risk.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious.
