Aaj Tak and India Today Global are hosting the BRICS Roundtable in New Delhi today, September 10. The event brings together ministers, diplomats, business leaders, policymakers and experts to discuss the future of BRICS.

According to an India Today Global press release from New Delhi yesterday, the roundtable is being held ahead of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi. The discussions are focusing on how BRICS can improve cooperation among member countries and create more opportunities for economic growth and partnerships.

The event features speakers from India and other countries, including Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, RPG Group Vice Chairman and FICCI President Anant Goenka, BJP National Vice President Ram Madhav, Bangladesh High Commissioner to India M. Riaz Hamidullah and South African High Commissioner to India Prof. Anil Sooklal.

The discussions also cover business and trade, including opportunities and challenges for Indian companies working in countries facing international sanctions. Emerging connectivity corridors and stronger business cooperation are also being discussed.

Artificial intelligence, global diplomacy and people to people connections are other key topics at the roundtable. C. P. Gurnani, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of AIonOS, is speaking about the role of AI, while former diplomats Ashok Kantha and Sanjay Bhattacharyya are discussing the changing global order.

The roundtable is focusing on ways to make cooperation between BRICS countries more practical and effective. Discussions are covering economic growth, strategic partnerships and development.
