The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), a unit under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, has found 10 agencies technically eligible under Category-I of its tender for the empanelment of media agencies for digital advertisement services and has called them for technical presentations on August 27.
The 10 agencies called for the presentations include One 97 Communication Limited (parent of PayTM), Auburn Digital Solutions, Inshorts India Advertising and Services, Verse Innovation, Amazon Ads, Puretech Internet, Blink Digital India, PivotRoots Digital,Y AAP Digital Limited, Momentus Digital Media.
According to a CBC circular, each agency will be given a maximum of 15 minutes to make its presentation as prescribed under the original request for proposal (RFP).
Meanwhile, the CBC has invited technical bids from agencies to expand its existing Executive Multimedia Panel and Base Multimedia Panel.
As per the RFP, the empanelled agencies may be assigned communication and advertising campaigns for government ministries, departments, public sector organisations and other government bodies, depending on campaign requirements.
The services will likely include television, radio, print, outdoor advertising, social media, video production, animation and other multimedia activities. The Executive Panel also covers specialised services such as augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and exhibition-related work.
