Neha Dhupia and Adil Hussain-starrer ’52 Blue’ is set to premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM).
According to a PTI report from New Delhi today, the film, directed by Ali El Arabi, follows Ashish, played by Yadav Shashidhar, a young football fan from Kochi who escapes his isolated life with the quiet support of his mother to travel to Qatar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup and fulfil his dream of meeting his idol, Lionel Messi.
The film stars Neha Dhupia, Adil Hussain and Yadav Shashidhar in key roles.Expressing her excitement, Neha Dhupia said she is grateful that ’52 Blue’ will premiere at IFFM.
She said every film has its own journey, but some stories leave a lasting impact on an actor, and ’52 Blue’ is one such film.
Calling it a deeply emotional and honest story, she added that it stayed with her long after the camera stopped rolling.
