JioStar has appointed Santosh Khandekar as Director Entertainment Pricing, Planning, Supply and Ad Products, Digital. He shared the news through a LinkedIn post yesterday, where he said he had joined India’s largest entertainment hub JioStar and thanked Sachin Waghe and Aashish Gupta for the opportunity.
Khandekar joined JioStar in June 2026 and will lead the company’s entertainment pricing, planning, supply, and digital advertising products. His appointment comes as JioStar continues to strengthen its digital advertising and entertainment business.
Before joining JioStar, Khandekar worked at VDO. AI for nearly two years, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President Revenue. During his time there, he handled revenue growth, monetisation, and leadership responsibilities.
Earlier, he worked as Product Manager Monetization at PubMatic, where he focused on advertising monetisation and supply-side platform (SSP) products.
Khandekar also spent more than three years at Fork Media, where he helped build the company’s in house advertising platform, ContextAds, and worked on product strategy, publisher integrations, contextual advertising, and programmatic technology. His career also includes roles at Netcore Solutions, Fuel Digital Media, PubMatic, and ZEDO.
With more than 14 years of experience in digital advertising, ad tech, programmatic advertising, monetisation, product management, and revenue strategy, Khandekar is expected to play a key role in expanding JioStar’s digital advertising business.
