L’Oréal Paris, Shark Tank India open special entry window for women founders

Beauty brand L’Oréal Paris has partnered with Shark Tank India on Sony LIV to introduce an exclusive application window for women entrepreneurs, offering them early access to one of India’s most influential startup platforms.

The initiative aims to encourage greater participation from women-led businesses by providing aspiring founders with an opportunity to apply for the upcoming season of Shark Tank India before the show’s general application process opens. Through the collaboration, selected entrepreneurs will gain access to opportunities for mentorship, investment and national visibility.

The partnership is rooted in L’Oréal Paris’ long-standing philosophy, “I’m Worth It,” and reflects a shared commitment by the beauty brand and Sony LIV to make entrepreneurial opportunities more accessible for women seeking to build and scale businesses. By creating a dedicated application window, the initiative seeks to address barriers that often prevent women from pursuing entrepreneurial ambitions and entering the mainstream startup ecosystem.

To announce the collaboration, L’Oréal Paris and Shark Tank India have released a campaign film that is currently streaming on Sony LIV. The film highlights situations where women hesitate to pursue their business aspirations because of self-doubt, societal expectations and fear of judgment. It concludes with an invitation encouraging women across the country to take the next step and present their ideas on a national platform.

The collaboration is positioned as a broader effort to support women founders by improving access to opportunities, capital and visibility. Through the initiative, L’Oréal Paris aims to help create pathways for women entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into scalable businesses while reinforcing the message that women deserve equal opportunities to succeed.

For Shark Tank India, the partnership aligns with the show’s ongoing mission of nurturing entrepreneurship and encouraging a more diverse startup ecosystem. By attracting more women founders, the platform hopes to connect promising entrepreneurs with experienced investors and mentors who can help accelerate their growth.

Applications through the exclusive women entrepreneurs’ window will remain open from July 2 to July 11, 2026. Entrepreneurs selected through the process will move forward in the Shark Tank India evaluation process and may receive the opportunity to pitch their businesses before the show’s panel of investors.

The initiative was supported by WPP Media, which served as the strategic media partner and helped develop platform-first integrations designed to seamlessly align L’Oréal Paris’ women empowerment agenda with the Shark Tank India journey.

With entrepreneurship emerging as an increasingly important avenue for economic participation and innovation, the collaboration seeks to provide women founders with greater confidence, visibility and access to resources that can help turn business ideas into successful ventures.
