Actor Vipin Sharma is taking his career to the global stage with two major international films after appearing in Monkey Man.
Vipin will be seen in ‘The Peasant’, the next film directed by Dev Patel. the action-thriller is set in the 14th century and is being produced by A24. the film is special because it is the first A24 project to be shot in India. It also features an international cast.
According to a Netflix press release, the actor has also joined The Big Fix, an upcoming Netflix crime thriller directed by Baltasar Kormákur. the film stars Mark Wahlberg and Riz Ahmed. based on a true story, the movie follows a former Interpol officer who uncovers a major international football match-fixing scandal.
Apart from these projects, Vipin has also worked with filmmaker Tarsem Singh on Dear Jassi.
Talking about this exciting phase of his career, Vipin said that working with Dev Patel on ‘Monkey Man’ was a memorable experience. He added that being part of ‘The Peasant’ is very special for him and that his bond with Patel has grown beyond just work.
The actor said he is happy that while he continues to work in India, he is also getting opportunities in international films. He described ‘The Peasant’ and ‘The Big Fix’ as unique projects with strong stories and talented teams. He also called working with Tarsem Singh on dear Jassi a valuable learning experience.
