Zee Telugu is all set to commemorate its 19th anniversary with a grand celebration titled Zee Mahotsavam 2024.
The event, scheduled to air on May 19 at 6 PM, promises an unforgettable evening filled with emotions, entertainment, and fun.
The celebrations will feature prominent figures from the entertainment industry, including Jayapradha, Ramyakrishna, and Kajal Agarwal, enhancing the glamour and excitement of the evening. The show will begin with anchor Ravi and Siri making a grand entry, sharing insightful anecdotes about Zee Telugu’s remarkable 19-year journey.
The event kicks off with a thrilling Antakshari competition between two teams – Juniors vs. Seniors. Jayapradha will lead the senior team, while Ramyakrishna will helm the junior team. The lively competition is set to ignite the stage with enthusiasm and nostalgia.
Adding to the entertainment, a skit by Drama Juniors will recreate memorable movie scenes from the 1980s and 1990s, paying tribute to iconic heroes and heroines. Both team captains, Jayapradha and Ramyakrishna, will also join the kids in a dance performance, showcasing their timeless charm and energy.
In a surprise twist, Kajal Agarwal will make a special entry, supporting the junior team and adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.
The evening will include special tributes to legendary artists of Telugu cinema, such as K. Viswanath, Chandra Mohan, and Sharat Babu. Drama Juniors will deliver a heartfelt performance in honor of these icons, followed by Jayapradha and Ramyakrishna sharing personal memories and expressing their deep admiration for these industry legends.
Further enriching the event, the Juniors and Seniors teams will present a performance highlighting familial bonds, such as those between a mother and son or a sister and brother. The junior team will also recreate a scene from the popular film ‘Ammoru,’ starring Ramya Krishna.
The celebration will culminate with a musical performance featuring hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and present day, illustrating the timeless appeal of music and storytelling. This blend of past and present elements will pay homage to Zee Telugu’s illustrious history while looking forward to a bright future.
