This year, the channel is stepping up the celebration by presenting nonstop Blockbusters beginning Saturday, August 12.
On Independence Day, Zee Cinema will broadcast the World Television Premieres of ‘Ravanasura’ starring Mass Maharaja – Ravi Teja at 1pm and ‘Chatrapathi’ starring the uber-talented Bellamkonda Sreenivas at 8pm.
The celebration will begin with the all-time blockbuster RRR, a film that showcased the glory of Indian cinema on a global stage and made every Indian proud. This blockbuster starring Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn will be shown on August 12 at 8pm.
This is followed by ‘Akhanda’, which takes us on a journey of bravery and virtue on August 13 at 8pm. On August 14, the channel will air Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’, a film about the ultimate fight against terror to save the nation.

So, who kehlata hai Chatrapathi, join Shiva’s fight against injustice and reunite with his family! This blockbuster, a Hindi remake of the S.S. Rajamouli film of the same name starring Prabhas and written by the same team as Baahubali and RRR, promises to provide a wholesome entertainment experience for your entire family.
Apart from the double premiere, the 15th of August will be jam-packed with blockbusters such as Big Dhamaka and Acharya. On the same day, a special screening of ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ will take place, allowing viewers to relive the magic once more.
