Zee 5 has announced a new lineup of Telugu entertainment content, including original series, films, dubbed movies, AI-powered stories, kids’ titles and live sports.

According to a Zee 5 press release today, the new slate brings together a mix of fresh stories, returning shows and major films for Telugu-speaking audiences.

The Originals lineup includes ‘Shrimathi’, starring Nivetha Thomas, and ‘Panchanama’, featuring Bharath Niwas and Sivaji Raja. Audience favourite ‘Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra 2’, hosted by Jagapathi Babu, will also return.

The film lineup includes ‘Lenin’, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu and starring Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse. Other titles include ‘NBK111’, directed by Gopichand Malineni and starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Kajal Aggarwal; ‘January 12 Vidudhala’.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram; ‘Vrushakarma’, directed by Karthik Varma Dandu and starring Chaitanya Akkineni and Meenakshi Chaudhary; and ‘Kanaka Durga’, directed by Pradeep Maddali and starring Allari Naresh and Kajal Choudhary.

The platform will also offer dubbed films including ‘Jananayagan’, ‘Hi’, ‘Demonte Colony 2’, ‘A Queen’ and ‘Veerappan 2’.

Zee 5 is further expanding its entertainment offering with AI-powered storytelling titles such as ‘Garuda’, ‘Vikram Vetal’, ‘Shiv Sati’, ‘Chandrakanta’, ‘Tirupati Balaji’, ‘Narmada’ and ‘Ram Anjanay Yudh’.

For younger viewers, the platform has announced kids’ titles ‘Barbarik’ and ‘Kundaka Mandakka’. Its live sports portfolio will also feature FIFA, Bundesliga, Coppa Italia and ILT20.

The new Telugu slate has been strengthened through collaborations with production houses including Vyjayanthi Movies, Sukumar Writings, Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (SVCC), Prime Show Entertainment, Shine Screens, Vriddhi Cinemas, Manam Enterprises LLP, Birla Studios, Temple Town Pictures, Udaya Bhanu Productions and Sri Chakra Movies LLP.
