Zee5 yesterday unveiled its biggest multilingual content slate to date, announcing a line-up spanning movies, web series, live sports, AI-powered storytelling, animation and kids’ entertainment across seven languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bangla — as part of its strategy to strengthen culturally rooted and language-first entertainment.
The Hindi slate, according to a press statement from the streamer yetserdayt, includes original series such as ‘Kambli’, inspired by the life of Vinod Kambli, ‘The Scam: Leaked’, ‘Coffee King’, ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai 2.0’, hosted by R. Madhavan, the returning ‘Zee Horror Show’, ‘Rangbaaz’ S4, starring Mohit Raina and Arunoday Singh, ‘Janaawar 2’, featuring Bhuvan Arora, and ‘Bakaiti’ S2, starring Rajesh Telang and Sheeba Chaddha.
Its film slate comprises ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, starring Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mouni Roy, ‘Bandar’, featuring Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra, ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’, led by Kangana Ranaut, and ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ with Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi.
Other offering in the pipeline include ‘Sarvgunn Sampann’, starring Vaani Kapoor, ‘Ghamasaan’, featuring Arshad Warsi, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Pratik Gandhi, ‘Ikroop’, with Mithila Palkar and Gauahar Khan, and ‘Dalimb’, starring Jitendra Kumar and Priya Bapat.
Across regional languages, the Tamil slate includes returning titles ‘Koose Munisamy Veerappan’ and ‘Thadayam’, originals ‘Ananthakaalam’ and
Tamil films announced include ‘Demonte Colony 3’, ‘Hi!’ and ‘Raawadi’. Telugu offerings include originals ‘Shrimathi’, starring Nivetha Thomas, ‘Objection Mylord’, starring Srikanth, the returning talk show ‘Jayammu Nishchayammu Ra’, and films ‘Venky Anil 5’, ‘NBK111’ and ‘Vrushakarma’
The Kannada slate features a new season of ‘Ayyana Mane’, originals ‘Bitcoin Scam’ and ‘Operation Bangara’, and film ‘Karavali’, featuring Raj B. Shetty and Prajwal Devaraj.
Malayalam content includes ‘A Queen’, ‘Malabar Cup’, rap battle show ‘Kerala Underground’ and film ‘Balan the Boy’.
Marathi viewers will get a new season of ‘Hey Kay Navin?’, original ‘Aga Aai, Aaho Aai’, and films ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’ and ‘Bhootam Bhayam’. In Bangla, Zee5 will bring new seasons of ‘Shwetkali’ and ‘Lalbazaar’
The company said it has partnered with production houses including Jio Studios, Maddock Films, AAZ Films, 200 NOTOUT CINEMAS, DICE Media, Collective Studios Historyverse, Tips Films, Pen Studios, Ellipsis Entertainment, Reliance Entertainment and Jar Pictures for Hindi content, while
The company added regional collaborations include Thespian Films, Annapurna Studios, Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sitara Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, Passion Studios, Vriddhi Cinemas, KVN Productions, Bahawa Entertainment, Pratisaad Productions, Kyra Kumar Kreations, Acropolis Entertainment, Anjan Dutt Productions, Why So Serious Films, Surinder Films and Zee Studios.
Beyond scripted entertainment, Zee5 said it will expand its portfolio through live sports, AI, animation and children’s programming.
The sports line-up includes FIFA World Cup 2026, Bundesliga, ILT Season 5 and Tamil Nadu Kabaddi.
The AI and animation slate features ‘Garud – Ek Yodha Ki Gatha’, ‘Narmada Manasa Sundari’, ‘Vikram Betal’, ‘Shiv Sati-Ek Anant Prem Kahani’, ‘Param Sundari Chandrakanta’, ‘Tirupati Balaji’, ‘Ram Anjaney Yuddh’ and ‘Aiyappan’.
Kids’ titles include ‘Shivlok Ke Kundakka Mandakka’, ‘Smart KidZ’, ‘Tales of Krishna’, and ‘Bandbudh and Budbak 2.0’.
