Akanksha Malhotra has been appointed as AVP – Talent at YRF Talent, the boutique talent management firm that currently represents celebrities such as Rani Mukerji, Anushka Sharma, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Arjun Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Sharvari, to name a few.
In her new role, Akanksha will be in charge of YRF Talent’s film division, as well as leading strategic relationships between artists and studios, producers, and platforms to package projects for its actors.
Akanksha has over 13 years of experience in the film industry prior to joining YRF Talent. She collaborated with Cine1 Studios on the blockbuster film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, Economic Times reported.
She was also Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor’s agent from 2010 to 2019, scouting and servicing projects for him such as ‘Padmaavat’, ‘Kabir Singh’, and ‘Udta Punjab’.
