YouTube has discreetly introduced a new feature called ‘Stable Volume’ to a select group of users.
The recent development was discovered by various individuals, including Redditors and YouTuber M. Brandon Lee, as reported by Android Authority.
Within the video settings page, users can find the ‘Stable Volume’ feature listed under the Ambient mode option. The primary purpose of this mode is to regulate and equalize volume levels across different videos.
By doing so, it aims to prevent abrupt volume changes or unexpected fluctuations while users are watching content from various creators and channels.
It remains uncertain whether artificial intelligence (AI) technology is employed to identify and optimize volume levels throughout different videos, IANS reported.
Presently, the feature has not been made available to all YouTube users.
