YouTube, which is owned by Google, has introduced a “Podcasts” tab to its channel pages.
According to Google, channel pages on YouTube’s main website and mobile apps now include a “Podcasts” tab between “Live” and “Playlists“, which is accessible globally, IANS reported from San Francisco.
This new tab shows playlists labeled as podcasts by YouTube Creators. Only podcast content will show on YouTube Music.
According to the report, despite the appearance of some users last Wednesday, that support is still in testing and has restricted availability.
Those who are waiting can use the new Podcasts tab to see which shows they watch that will appear on YouTube Music and encourage creators to submit episodes as videos.
According to the report, the podcast experience in the primary YouTube app is still video-focused at this time.
Meanwhile, YouTube Audio, its audio streaming service, has added song and album credits.
