The YES BANK and CNBC-TV18 Growth Summit, held in Delhi and in association with Max Life Insurance, provided a platform for policymakers, industry leaders, startup founders, and experts to engage in substantive discussions on India’s economic growth.
The summit, titled ‘A Vision to a $10 Trillion Economy,’ centered on the government’s ambitious 25-year plan to position India as the world’s third-largest economy with a GDP of $10 trillion.
Prashant Kumar, MD & CEO of YES Bank, opened the summit by emphasizing the need for collaboration and focus on inclusivity, manufacturing, boosting exports, supporting MSMEs, and funding innovation to achieve the $10 trillion economy plan. He announced the launch of ‘Yes Private’ in Delhi, a market offering targeting HNI Business owners and C-Suite executives.
The event featured insightful discussions, including a fireside chat with Suresh Narayanan, CMD, Nestle India, moderated by Sheeren Bhan, Managing Editor, CNBC-TV18, and a discussion on ‘Unveiling Indian Healthcare as a Model of Growth & Excellence’ with Dr Naresh Trehan, Executive Chairman, Medanta.
A fireside chat with Sunil Vachani, Chairman, Dixon Technologies, was followed by a special address from Prashant Tripathy, MD & CEO, Max Life Insurance, stressing the importance of visionary policy initiatives for inclusive growth.
The summit also included a panel discussion on ‘Facilitating the Emerging Stars of Indian Business,’ featuring insights from industry experts. The evening concluded with an engaging conversation with Virendra Sehwag, Former Indian Cricketer, discussing India’s prospects in the upcoming World Cup.
The event wrapped up with a thought-provoking session by Kumaar Bagrodia, Neuroscientist & Founder of NeuroLeap, on ‘The Neuroscience of Investing.’ The summit highlighted India’s journey towards economic prosperity and charted a path forward, emphasizing critical areas for sustained development.
The next edition of ‘The Growth Summit – Vision for a $10 trillion Economy’ is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on March 15, 2024.
