The first teaser of the upcoming mystery thriller series ‘Yaga‘ has been released, introducing Hudson Williams in the lead role.

According to an ANI report from Washington yesterday, the teaser was unveiled during the series’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The cast includes Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid, Clark Backo and Hudson Williams.

Based on a play by Kat Sandler, ‘Yaga’ is a modern retelling of the legendary Baba Yaga myth, set in a small coastal town. The story follows private investigator Rapp, played by Noah Reid, who is assigned to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park, portrayed by Hudson Williams, the heir to a powerful fishery. As the investigation unfolds, he becomes entangled in a mystery involving hidden secrets, strange events and ancient magic.

The series is written and executive produced by Kat Sandler, with David Frazee and Rachel Talalay directing. Along with Williams, the cast also features Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, Hiro Kanagawa, Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris and Sam Krochmal.
