The multi-device login feature of Meta-owned WhatsApp now allows users to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple phones.
Users can now link up to four additional devices to their phones.
According to IANS, this update has begun rolling out to users worldwide and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
“A highly requested feature, you can now link your phone as one of up to four additional devices, just as you can with WhatsApp on web browsers, tablets, and desktops.
“Each linked phone connects to WhatsApp independently, ensuring end-to-end encryption of your messages, media, and calls,” WhatsApp said in a blog post on Tuesday.
Furthermore, users can now switch between phones without signing out and resume conversations where they left off.
Furthermore, if you own a small business, additional employees will now be able to respond to customers directly from their phones using the same WhatsApp Business account, according to the company.
