Warner Bros. Discovery unveils the third edition of the ‘Secrets’ franchise, ‘Secrets of the Buddha Relics.’ Set to release on Discovery+ on January 22, 2024, and on Discovery Channel at 9:00 PM on February 26, 2024, the documentary delves into the historical and cultural significance of Buddha’s relics.
Hosted by National Award and Padma Shri-awardee Manoj Bajpayee, and created by Neeraj Pandey – Friday Storytellers, the documentary promises to transport viewers to the time of Buddha, unraveling mysteries surrounding his final days and the relics that remain central to Buddhism today.

Showrunner Neeraj Pandey’s creation traces the origins, cultural importance, and mystical stories behind Buddha’s relics, exploring their global impact and their role in making Buddhism the world’s fourth-largest faith. The documentary combines historical and mythological narratives to provide a comprehensive understanding of the relics’ significance in Buddhism.
