WPP Media has appointed Vikas Devnani as Senior Director – India Operations, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to scale its operations in a rapidly evolving media and marketing landscape.
Devnani announced his new role through a post on LinkedIn, where he shared that the position brings together his focus on strategy, AI-led transformation and building high-performing teams. He also expressed enthusiasm about contributing to WPP’s next phase of growth as the media ecosystem continues to evolve.
In his post, Devnani noted that he looks forward to applying his experience in operations and digital transformation to help drive growth and innovation within the organisation.
Devnani brings more than two decades of experience across media, digital operations and business leadership. Before joining WPP Media, he served as Director of Operations at iQuanti, where he was involved in overseeing operational functions and driving strategic initiatives within the company’s digital performance marketing ecosystem.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Assombro Tech Solutions Private Limited as Executive Director – Operations and Business Head for AlCircle.com. In that role, he managed media and e-commerce verticals while overseeing cross-functional operations and business development initiatives.
Devnani also worked with Ericsson India as Operations Manager – Content Discovery and served as Vice President – Operations at International Business Times, where he handled overall operational responsibilities for the India business.
Earlier in his career, Devnani spent nearly a decade with Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., rising to the role of Senior Manager. During his tenure, he worked extensively across e-paper production and digital operations for publications including The Times of India, The Economic Times and the Mirror editions.
With his extensive experience spanning digital media operations, technology integration and strategic leadership, Devnani’s appointment is expected to further strengthen WPP Media’s operational capabilities in India as the company continues to expand its focus on data-driven and AI-enabled media solutions.
