Subscription-free OTT platform VETO has acquired the exclusive OTT streaming rights for the Billie Jean King Cup 2026 in India.

The deal comes shortly after VETO secured the exclusive OTT streaming rights for the Davis Cup 2026. With rights to both major international tennis team competitions, VETO is expanding its focus on live sports.

According to a VETO press release from New Delhi today, the Billie Jean King Cup is one of the most prestigious team competitions in women’s tennis. The 2026 Finals will be held in Shenzhen, China, from September 22 to 27.

Eight nations will compete in the knockout stage, with two-time defending champions Italy aiming for a third consecutive title.

Earlier this year, India hosted the Billie Jean King Cup Asia/Oceania Group I stage at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association Stadium in New Delhi from April 7 to 11. India finished third in the six-nation group and retained its Group I status for 2027.

VETO said the addition of the Billie Jean King Cup is part of its wider content expansion. Since launching in September 2025, the platform has grown to more than 60 live TV channels and has added web series to its on-demand catalogue. Its content is available across 12 languages and more than 10 genres.

Ritu Dhawan, Managing Director, VETO, said the acquisition of the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup reflects the platform’s long-term plan to make live sports an important part of its content offering.
