On March 20th, World Oral Health Day, TV9 Network and Sensodyne have united once again to advocate for oral hygiene awareness. This collaboration aims to encourage individuals to prioritize their oral health through a campaign titled #TakeTheFirstStep, leading up to the second edition of the Oral Health Summit.
Following the success of the inaugural oral health summit in 2023, TV9 Network and Sensodyne have renewed their partnership to address oral hygiene concerns. The campaign urges people to fulfill their “Funda-dental duties” and emphasizes the importance of oral health in overall well-being, the channel said in a press release.
Raktim Das, Chief Growth Officer (Broadcasting & Digital) of TV9 Network, highlighted the significance of oral health, particularly in the post-Covid era, where health and fitness are paramount. Das expressed the network’s commitment to spreading awareness alongside Sensodyne, enabling individuals to take proactive steps toward oral hygiene.
Amit Tripathi, Chief Revenue Officer of TV9 Network, underscored the network’s extensive reach across seven languages, facilitating Sensodyne’s message delivery to a wide audience. Through digital and broadcast media amplification, the initiative aims to raise awareness across diverse linguistic communities.
The summit will feature discussions led by experts and dignitaries from various segments of dental sciences, including representatives from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Niti Aayog, Indian Dental Association, National Oral Health Forum, and Dental Council of India. Their insights will address prevalent oral health issues affecting individuals of all ages.
Navneet Saluja, Area General Manager of Indian Sub-continent at Haleon, expressed pride in continuing the partnership with TV9’s Oral Health Summit. He emphasized Sensodyne’s commitment to improving everyday health and thanked stakeholders for their support.
Saluja highlighted Sensodyne’s latest education campaign, #BeSensitiveToOralHealth, launched on World Oral Health Day, aimed at bolstering oral health literacy and providing free dental consultations nationwide.
The summit’s highlights will be broadcasted across all channels of the TV9 Network on World Oral Health Day 2024, March 20th, further spreading awareness and promoting the importance of oral health in India.
