In a vibrant celebration of the upcoming Durga Puja festival, TV9 Bangla has launched an innovative campaign featuring a song generated with AI technology. The campaign artfully captures the essence of Durga Puja in Kolkata, depicting the joy and excitement of pandal hoppers during this much-anticipated time of year.
According to a company press release, the campaign presents a compelling narrative that highlights popular pandal-hopping destinations in Kolkata.
- Maddox Puja: Famous for its youthful and lively gatherings.
- Bosepukur: Credited with introducing the concept of themed pujas in Kolkata.
- Ekdalia Evergreen: Notable for its impressive light and décor.
The song also pays homage to popular pujas in Naktala, Samaj Sebi, and others, capturing the festive spirit and community engagement during this vibrant season.
The campaign showcases two protagonists exploring the city, while a TV9 Bangla OB van travels to various district hotspots, including Hazar Duari, Bandel Church, and Cooch Behar Raj Bari.
This visually engaging narrative emphasizes the tagline ‘Na Dekhleyi Noye,’ which translates to “not complete without seeing.” This tagline underscores TV9 Bangla’s commitment to delivering breaking news, paralleling the sentiment that experiencing Ma Durga during Durga Puja is essential for the festival.
The campaign employs a blend of AI technology and graphics, featuring hand-sketched and painted animations that harmonize with the musical score. Each animated shot is enhanced with visual effects (VFX), creating a dynamic and immersive experience that resonates with the festive mood.
Amritanshu Bhattacharya, Managing Editor & Business Head of TV9 Bangla, expressed pride in this campaign, stating, “TV9 Bangla has been serving ground-breaking and fact-finding news across Bengal. With Durga Puja approaching, we are proud to present a contemporary puja release campaign that has a realistic touch of news. By deploying AI technology and graphical representation, this song will resonate with the festive spirit.”
