Truecaller has expanded its Business Chat platform, opening it up to global channel partners and enterprise solution providers in a move aimed at reshaping how businesses communicate with customers in a crowded digital ecosystem.
According to a Truecaller press release, the expansion allows partners to onboard enterprise clients onto its Business Chat platform, helping them move away from traditional SMS-based communication towards a more verified, media-rich and conversational engagement model. The company said the initiative is designed to build higher trust and improve customer interaction outcomes.
With this development, Truecaller is positioning Business Chat as a high-trust communication layer where brands can connect with users in a more contextual and interactive manner. The platform enables businesses to engage directly with over 500 million active users, offering a clutter-free interface that prioritises verified communication and actionable conversations.
Priyam Bose, Global Head – GTM at Truecaller, said the definition of enterprise success is evolving beyond simple message delivery to focus on attention, credibility and meaningful conversion. He noted that opening the platform to global partners creates a strong gateway for brands to engage users in a trusted environment, while also giving existing clients access to an additional high-impact communication channel.
The Business Chat platform is equipped with real-time data insights and rich engagement metrics, allowing businesses to build more adaptive and data-driven communication strategies. This, in turn, enables brands to optimise interactions across different stages of the customer journey.
Several partners, including Gupshup and OneXtel in India, along with Globe Teleservices, Cloudcom and Sling Africa in international markets, are already live on the platform and scaling its adoption.
As digital communication channels become increasingly fragmented and competitive, Truecaller’s move signals a broader shift towards verified, experience-led engagement, where trust and relevance play a central role in how businesses connect with consumers.
