Truecaller, the world’s leading communications platform, has announced the launch of adVantage, an AI-powered recommendation engine designed to transform how businesses engage with users during high-attention communication moments.
The new platform leverages advanced machine learning to help brands deliver more precise, relevant, and impactful messages to their audiences, marking a major step forward in Truecaller’s enterprise solutions strategy.
According to a PTI report, adVantage operates as a centralized intelligence hub that continuously learns from user interactions across Truecaller’s vast ecosystem. It uses real-time behavioral insights and recommendation models to generate privacy-safe, anonymized, and aggregated data, ensuring both personalization and user trust. The platform integrates seamlessly across business messaging, contextual advertising, and other enterprise-grade tools, providing brands with a smarter, data-driven way to engage customers and optimize performance.
Speaking about the launch, Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Global CEO of Truecaller, said, “In a world moving away from broad targeting, relevance is the new currency. adVantage is our answer to the market’s need for smarter, privacy-compliant personalization. It’s not just about reaching users, it’s about understanding their unique needs and providing value through every interaction.” He added that the framework forms a core pillar of Truecaller’s growth strategy, aiming to build scalable internal engines that redefine how businesses create value.
Following a successful testing phase within Truecaller’s advertising business, adVantage consistently delivered higher engagement and stronger ROI benchmarks. During trials, the company reported a 400% increase in open rates on its business messaging platform, demonstrating the system’s ability to boost user interaction and campaign performance.
The AI platform operates through three adaptive modules — Discover, Engage, and Perform — each tailored to support specific business goals. Discover helps identify new, relevant audience segments to expand brand reach, Engage re-targets interested users to move them toward conversions, and Perform leverages AI optimization to drive measurable outcomes like app installs, lead generation, and e-commerce transactions.
In its pilot phase, adVantage campaigns achieved impressive results, including up to a 50% lift in click-through rates and a reach extending to over 200 million users. The strongest performance was recorded in high-intent sectors such as fintech, automotive, edtech, and e-commerce, where brands were able to translate awareness into tangible results that exceeded internal performance benchmarks.
Liniker Seixas, adVantage Lead at Truecaller, commented, “At its core, Truecaller adVantage is about giving businesses a real edge. We’ve built a sophisticated platform powered by multiple AI models working in harmony to continuously learn and improve. This empowers businesses to dynamically optimize decision-making, enhance efficiency, and drive stronger outcomes.”
Truecaller said adVantage will act as a cornerstone of its partners’ growth strategies, allowing companies to harness its data intelligence ecosystem to strengthen engagement, accelerate conversions, and improve overall marketing effectiveness. With the launch of adVantage, Truecaller aims to redefine how AI and data-driven insights can deliver value in an increasingly privacy-conscious and competitive digital environment.
