Truecaller, the global communications platform, has announced the appointment of Athul Prabhu as Product Director for its advertising business. In this role, he will be responsible for shaping the product vision and strategy for Truecaller Ads, strengthening its position as a trusted platform for brands and marketers.
Prabhu brings more than a decade of leadership experience in media, advertising, and technology, with a strong track record of building and scaling ad-tech platforms.
At Glance, he was instrumental in creating the company’s ad-tech infrastructure, enabling global monetisation of its lock-screen app through both programmatic and direct advertising. He has also held senior positions at TikTok, Viacom18 and Nielsen, working across product innovation, analytics, and advertising-led growth.
Welcoming him on board, Hemant Arora, VP – Global Ads Business at Truecaller, said the platform is fast evolving into a world-class product. “Athul will lead our next phase of growth by building a diversified suite of products tailored to different markets, powered by data and AI. His focus will be on enabling brands to connect with audiences in more relevant, trusted, and impactful ways,” he added.
