Travel and lifestyle television network Travelxp has expanded its European footprint with the launch of Travelxp HD and Travelxp 4K on Makedonski Telekom, one of North Macedonia’s largest telecom operators. The move marks a key milestone in the network’s growth strategy across the Balkans, significantly enhancing its reach in the region.
The partnership enables Travelxp to access more than 65 per cent of all pay TV households in North Macedonia. Subscribers of Makedonski Telekom can now watch Travelxp’s curated slate of travel, culture, food and lifestyle programming in both HD and ultra-high-definition 4K HDR formats, offering a richer and more immersive viewing experience.
As part of the rollout, Travelxp HD is available on channel 119, while Travelxp 4K is being carried on channel 123 on the Makedonski Telekom platform. The dual-format availability allows viewers to enjoy the channel across a wide range of screens, from conventional televisions to next-generation ultra-immersive displays.
Known globally for its cinematic storytelling and high production standards, Travelxp showcases destinations through sweeping landscapes, authentic local encounters and human-centric narratives. The launch in North Macedonia reinforces the network’s positioning as a premium travel broadcaster that combines visual excellence with compelling storytelling.
Commenting on the expansion, Sumant Bahl said the partnership with Makedonski Telekom represents a meaningful step in Travelxp’s Balkans journey. He noted that North Macedonia is a growing market with audiences that appreciate premium, visually rich content, adding that the launch is not only about widening reach but also about elevating how travel stories are experienced in the region.
From the operator’s side, Ivan Brzovski of Makedonski Telekom said the addition of Travelxp HD and Travelxp 4K strengthens the company’s TV portfolio. He highlighted that the channels bring world-class travel and lifestyle programming in exceptional picture quality, aligning with Makedonski Telekom’s focus on offering innovative, high-value entertainment to its customers.
With this latest launch, Travelxp continues to deepen its presence across Europe, underlining its ambition to bring immersive, high-definition travel storytelling to audiences in key international markets.
