Tamil Nadu’s top news channel Puthiyathalaimurai News, which resonates with Tamilians globally, has said it would present to its cliuents and agencies the flavours of the harvest festival Pongal.
The channel said that for the first such an agency activation initiative has been initiated and will witness a roundup of Tamil Nadu, which will be a source of knowledge for media planners and buyers across India.
The Puthiyathalaimurai News’ Pongal presentations to business clients will happen in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore from January 10-13. The harvest festival is celebrated in Tamil Nadu in the second week of January.
According to a press release from the news channel, the initiativewill be covering over 13 agencies and clients and the event is executed and conceptualized by Fourth Dimension Media.
“Pongal is a very important festival for us Tamilians. This signifies the start of harvest across Tamil Nadu. With Puthiyathalaimurai News being the voice of Tamilians and market leader in the State, it’s the best channel to communicate this message,” said Shankar B, CEO, Fourth Dimension Media Solutions P Limited, in a statement.
