With a commanding 39 percent viewership share during Week 45, the channel reinforced its position as the preferred election headquarters for English news audiences.
According to a Times Now press release, the network’s strong performance underscores its sustained authority in election coverage across megacities.
On counting day, November 14, Times Now surged far ahead of all competitors, recording a dominant 51 percent share. The impressive lead reflects its deep penetration among viewers seeking real-time updates, sharp reporting, and credible election insights, the news network said in the statement.
The channel’s momentum continued well into prime time on the same day, with a striking 57 percent share between 8 pm and 11 pm, powered by its flagship shows — India Upfront, The Newshour @9, and The Newshour @10. The evening line-up delivered detailed analyses and expert perspectives that drew strong audience engagement across key metros.
The channel also commanded viewership during exit poll coverage on November 11, securing a 52 percent share and reaffirming its status as a trusted leader for pre-result trends and projections. Throughout the election buildup spanning Weeks 40 to 45, Times Now maintained a consistent 38 percent share, reflecting its unwavering hold over the category and its deep resonance with English news viewers.
