The trailer for ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ S4 has been released, giving audiences a first look at what is being billed as Mickey Haller’s most challenging courtroom battle so far. The new season promises higher stakes, personal consequences and an intense legal showdown as the popular Netflix series returns.
According to an ANI report, the fourth season is based on ‘The Law of Innocence’, the sixth novel in Michael Connelly’s bestselling ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ series. It follows Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, as he fights to prove his own innocence after being implicated in the murder of his former client, conman Sam Scales, portrayed by Christopher Thornton.
The story picks up from the dramatic end of Season 3, where Scales’ body is discovered in the trunk of Mickey’s Lincoln. Now on trial for murder, Mickey and his team work relentlessly to uncover the truth behind Scales’ final scam. Their investigation puts them on a collision course with the district attorney’s office, the FBI and unresolved chapters from Mickey’s past.
The trailer introduces Dana Berg, played by Constance Zimmer, as the formidable prosecutor determined to bring Mickey down. Berg’s connection to Mickey’s first ex-wife, Maggie, portrayed by Neve Campbell, adds another layer of complexity to the case, potentially giving Mickey an emotional edge as the legal battle intensifies.
Netflix shared the trailer on its official YouTube channel, sparking excitement among fans of the legal drama. Alongside Garcia-Rulfo, the series also stars Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson. The expanded cast for the season includes Elliott Gould, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Cobie Smulders, Jason O’Mara, Sasha Alexander, Lana Parrilla and several other familiar faces, according to reports.
Created for television by David E. Kelley, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ is developed by Ted Humphrey, who serves as co-showrunner and executive producer along with Dailyn Rodriguez. Michael Connelly is also on board as an executive producer, with the series produced by A+E Studios.
Season 4 of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ is set to premiere on Netflix on Feb 5, with the new trailer setting the stage for a gripping courtroom drama where the lawyer must fight not just for a client, but for his own freedom.
