Tata Play has launched Marathi Classics, a new platform service dedicated to iconic movies and shows from the golden era of Marathi entertainment. This initiative, powered by ZEE Talkies, features an ad-free experience for subscribers at just INR 1.5 per day on channel #1214.
Recognizing the content preferences of its audience, the Marathi Classics service offers a rich catalog that includes classic blockbusters released after the 1950s, popular daily soaps, and a selection of kirtans for spiritually inclined viewers, the platform said in a press release.
The lineup includes cult classics such as ‘Zapatlela’, ‘GupChup GupChup’, ‘Palva Palvi’, ‘Maherchi Sadi’, and ‘Dev Manus’. Subscribers can also enjoy films featuring legendary actors like Ashok Saraf, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Laxmikant Berde, Dada Kondke, Varsha Usgaonkar, Jayshree Gadkar, and Nilu Phule, along with beloved serials like ‘Avantika’, ‘Vadalvaat’, and ‘Abhalmaya’.
