July is officially the Leo season and Tata Play Binge is kicking off a star-studded celebration honouring some of Bollywood’s brightest Leo women — Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani — with a curated tribute to their most iconic performances, available to stream through its platform this July.
According to a press note from Tata Play, this glam binge fest is a nod to the queens of Hindi cinema who were all born in the month of July. Katrina celebrates her birthday on July 16, followed by Priyanka Chopra and Bhumi Pednekar on July 18, Kriti Sanon on July 27 and Kiara Advani bringing the month to a close on July 31.
Through one subscription across 30+ OTT apps, Tata Play Binge invites viewers to turn their watchlists into a birthday bash filled with standout performances from these leading ladies.
Topping the list is Yash Chopra’s final romantic epic ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, where Katrina’s poised and emotionally layered portrayal of Meera lights up the screen opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Set against Rahman’s timeless soundtrack, the film explores love, longing and faith with Katrina playing a central force in the heart of the narrative.
For Kriti Sanon, it’s ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ that earns her the spotlight in this celebration. As the spirited and book-loving Bitti Mishra, Sanon’s character flips small-town stereotypes with effortless charm. Her comic timing and natural ease not only drew critical acclaim but also cemented her position as a strong voice in rom-com cinema.
Priyanka Chopra’s transformative performance in ‘Mary Kom’ is another unmissable watch. The biopic, which sees Chopra train and step into the shoes of the celebrated Olympic boxer, is an ode to resilience, motherhood, and the never-say-die spirit. Her physical and emotional preparation for the role made it one of the most talked-about performances of her career.
Bhumi’s powerful debut in ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ is also part of the Leo celebration. As Sandhya, she challenged Bollywood norms with a story rooted in confidence, self-worth, and love beyond appearances. Her performance paired brilliantly with Ayushmann Khurrana, creating an understated yet memorable cinematic experience.
Lastly, Kiara rounds off the lineup with her bubbly and emotionally nuanced role as Monika Batra in the hit comedy ‘Good Newwz’. Sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara holds her own, delivering laughs and moving moments in a storyline revolving around a chaotic IVF mix-up.
Tata Play Binge’s Leo Season special is more than just a birthday nod. It’s a toast to the power, range and influence of Bollywood’s top female stars.
